Thane District Kabaddi Association (TDKA)

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Thane District Kabaddi Association (TDKA). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation, membership, and interaction with the Association, including all its events, tournaments, digital platforms, and affiliated activities.

By registering as a member, player, coach, official, or participant, you agree to abide by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • “Association” refers to the Thane District Kabaddi Association (TDKA).
  • “Member” means any registered player, coach, official, or affiliated club under TDKA.
  • “Participant” refers to anyone taking part in TDKA-organized events or tournaments.
  • “Event” includes any kabaddi match, league, training, or program organized by TDKA.

3. Membership

  • 1. Membership is open to individuals, clubs, and institutions within Thane District.
  • 2. Members must provide accurate personal information and maintain the integrity of their registration details.
  • 3. The Association reserves the right to approve, reject, or terminate membership at its discretion.
  • 4. Members are expected to uphold the code of conduct, fair play, and sportsmanship at all times.

4. Participation Rules

  • 1. All players must comply with rules set by the Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association (MSKA).
  • 2. Players must be medically fit and may be required to submit a fitness or age verification certificate.
  • 3. Use of banned substances or performance-enhancing drugs is strictly prohibited.
  • 4. The Association reserves the right to disqualify or suspend any player or team found violating rules or engaging in misconduct.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Respect referees, officials, opponents, and spectators.
  • No abusive language, violence, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
  • Members must wear proper attire during official matches.
  • Disciplinary action may include warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.

6. Liability and Insurance

  • 1. Participation in kabaddi events involves physical risk. The Association shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during activities.
  • 2. Participants are encouraged to have personal accident and health insurance.

7. Fees and Payments

  • 1. Membership and event fees must be paid as per the prescribed schedule.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable except under special circumstances approved by the Executive Committee.
  • Failure to pay dues may lead to suspension of membership or disqualification from events.

8. Media and Publicity

  • 1. By participating in TDKA events, you consent to the use of your name, image, and performance for promotional, news, and archival purposes.
  • 2. The Association retains all rights to event photography, videography, and broadcast coverage.

9. Data Protection

  • 1. Personal data collected by TDKA will be used only for administrative, communication, and record-keeping purposes.
  • 2. The Association will not share members’ data with unauthorized third parties.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from membership or participation shall be resolved by the TDKA Disciplinary and Arbitration Committee.

The Committee’s decision shall be final and binding.

11. Amendments

The Association reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on official communication channels.

12. Governing Law,

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the District Court of Thane, Maharashtra.
